Here is today’s entry in my Photo-a-Day project.
I was listening to my iPod this morning at work when the song Long Cold Winter by 80’s band Cinderella came up in the shuffle. I was reminded of some of the concerts I attended in the 80’s and early 90’s, including Cinderella. I’m sure my sister will remember that one. She and I went together because she wanted to see Winger and I wanted to see Cinderella. My favorite part of that show was the performance of Long Cold Winter. Lead singer Tom Keifer was lowered to the stage while playing piano with snow falling.
I saw some really good shows back then, including a few Aerosmith shows, Joan Jett, Def Leppard and Stryper. I hadn’t thought much about those concerts until today when I heard that song. Good memories!
What concerts do you remember from your teenage and early adult years? What were your favorites?
